Copy of complaint

498a complaint file in court, i am accused in the case. I wanted to get copy of complaint,

how can I get the copy, lawyer is asking for 3000 court plus 5000 as his fee to get just copy

what are the court charges.

If charge sheet is filed you will get it free of cost, court will supply the charge sheet along with other statements of wittnesses for this you will have to wait till filing of charge sheet. If you want get it immediately then you will have to apply for the certified copy of the complaint

Copy can be obtained with an application affixing copying ticket of nominal value.

No need to wait till charge sheet is filed to get the copy of the complaint.

In fact it is fatal for case and accused must not only seek copies of all documents but also file an application for discharge of accused and dismissal of case on this point alone.

GO TO REVISION IF LOWER COURT DOES NOT PASS ANY ORDER IN THIS MATTER IN YOUR FAVOUR.

Approach some registered Advocate clerk and ask him to file application for certified copy. You yourself can make application. The fees and expenses demanded seem to me unreasonable to some extent.
