Legal perspect of uid

(Querist) 17 August 2011 This query is : Resolved
Sir

as you know Govt. has launch uid no under it's addhar scheme for identification of citizens.

Now it is not validated for any legal authentication but i am sure in near future it will be.and it will be valid resident proof of the citizens.

in this case i have residential document of west Bengal. but our native village is out of Bengal(bihar) there also we have property & other stuff. how should we apply for UID.

can we show the residential proof of both the places.

or by showing residential proof of one place will loose the residential proof/ residential capacity of other place.

i have seen UID form they are asking for very fewer data. in my opinion they should provide more fields so the citizens can provide other relevant information in their behalf

what are the other prospects in your opinion?

it must be like passport application formate
all temporary address, permanent and relocated address should be given. Then only identification will be perfect. otherwise it will be futile.
