Bail able warrant

sir,
bail able warrant have been issued against me under negotiable instrument act (138) in a conspirated case of Rupees. 10 lakh.
Earlier we have duely replied the opposit party's council notice. I was out of station with my family for long time i did nt get any summon may be in our absence they visited, but the court admitted it serviced and in our non appearence to the date court issued bailable warrant.
kindly let me know what should i do now the next date is january 2012.

appear on next date.

Bailable warrants means that the police office would release you on furnishing a surity of the said amount.

You can file petition for recalling of the warrant, in the same court.

File a Put-Up application for surrender immediately in court and obtain bail and get recall of BWA otherwise the Police may unnecessarily harass you for oblique motive.
