Sir, previously i loaded a query for suicidal note which my husband is demading to rebuild our home as we are separated now. Sir, He is trying to hide himself in wake of this note and is postponing life in right sense. As mine is a second marriage and his third which i got to know after marriage, i was subjected to severe mental harrasment, as he compared me to his firt wife, secon wife and his sisters, n now says that I canot do anything to his family as they have a poltical background and his promises of rebuilding look false to avoid cases. Sir Advise me do i need to continue with this person than is there any Counselling way where he can be told by the law to resume back to matrimonial life or do i need to file a case against him. Please advise, Sometimes I feel i should take divorce on mutual consent.

I have not read your earlier querry. But do not give him any undertaking to resume matrimonial life. If you want divorce by contest, you can get it on the ground of cruelty. After that you can get permanent alimony of lumpsum amount. If you go for mutual consent, put some reasonable amount for divorce as after divorce your life will be difficult. But if you want to resume matrimonial life and he does not want, by filing domestic violence case, the court can put you in matrimonial home with appropriate protection orders and maintenance, but cannot provide harmonious relationship, as it is beyond its capacity.
