Don't marry for a flat.
Marry a good girl and live an unerstnding life. You can purchase many flats in future.

if after marriage your father refuses to give you a flat...will you divorce your wife due to non performance of contract?
In my opinion such a contract is not valid and cannot be enforced as it is against the public policy.

otherwise also its another shameful development in Indian Society where father-son relationships have gone so materialistic that the son does not trust his father and things are expected to be governed by an agreement.
Strange.

Keeping value judgments and morality aside - such agreement would be a valid and enforceable contract. It is a principle well established that every contract in order to be enforceable has to be supported by some consideration. Your father later may try to wriggle out of hte contract may say "there was no consideration that flowed to him" in desi lang "mujhe kya mila iske shaadi karne se" this won't stand - as the satisfaction of getting a son settled and later being a grandfather (quite naturally!) is consideration enough.
Insist on a written contract :)
