Some time ago I have seen a news that from 1st July 2012 there will be no bar restriction through out the country. Any lawyers can practice in any court through out in India.
So is this announced officially? or just a news till date?

In fact Section 30 of the Advocates Act 1961 was not enforced so the advocates could not practise in any court of the country.Then Law minister Mr.Veerappa Moily took initiative in 2011 & brought to gazette notification .Now since 15.11.2011,all advocates can practice in all the Indian courts,tribunal,forums etc.Read Delhi H/C judgment "Balraj Singh Malik vs Supreme Court Of India" decided on 13 February, 2012

Yes, it is done by govt.notification.
