1. Normally a conversion of wife does not ipso facto lead to a divorce, however if a woman has converted back to her earlier religion - this operates as dissolution of marriage.

3. Read S.4/5 of the Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act, 1939.

1. Will this will be treated as divorce?

Ans : No. Conversion of spouce to other religion can be a ground for divorce by other party.

2. What are the options available with the boy.

Ans : either to divorce her or to condoned the conversion and continue with marriage.

3. What other legal formalities are required for the purpose of divorce.

Ans : from husband side Muslim law provides for Speaking or writing three times Talaq. Wife has to go for divorcesuit under Dissolusion of Indian Muslim Marriage Act.

4. Are there any such cases on this issue.
