Consumption of alcohol

(Querist) 26 February 2013 This query is : Resolved 
For example, I am consuming alcohol in the back seat of a car, with a driver driving the car. Also, I have an individual permit issued by the govt. Can I be prosecuted/ penalized for an offence? If yes, under which provision of which act?
