Our building is a registered society and it was constructed in they year 1969. Sir u might be aware that since its an old bldg I am entitled to depreciation. I had asked the society for a copy of O.C. but unfortunately they are not able to locate it at the moment. Is it possible for me to obtain a copy from the BMC if yes then what is the procedure and time factor involved. We are in the process of selling our flat.

since OC is an important document find from old office bearers of society whether society has received an OC from BMc or not . you can make an RTI application to find out whether in respect of your society OC is issued or contact the builder who has constructed your building

without occupation certificate, all further actions shall have no value in the eyes of law so first of all ensure it by moving RTI application to concerned officials.
