Non payments of salary

Dear Sir,

A employee has not been paid his salary for couple of months. the employee has left the company. his total overdues exceeds 5 lakhs of Rs. Can he initiates winding up or he should avail some remedy

He can file case of criminal breach of trust.
Civil suit for recovery of money is another option.

first send legal notice to co.to pay salary

It is very strange that the employee continued working for such long period creating an arrears of salary of such huge amount.

Anyway, after serving legal notice, the petition seeking winding up can also be brought by him before high court.
