Dear Sir,
I had purchased a property against GPA at delhi on 2002.
I have complete documents of seller which i had received at the time of buy the property
Now I will sale the such property but party ask me to provide the chain copy of previous buyers.
sir, pl. confirm is it necessary or not, if necessary then how can we get the same as it is 10 yrs. old metter.
pl. confirm.

it is necessary to produce the original documents of title to enable purchaser to verify the same . ask the seller to produce the same . if you don thave those documents you wont find a ready buyer for your property

as it is 11 yrs. old matter & seller is not traceable now, pl. tell us solution to make the such required documents.

The parties now a days require such past documents because of the increasing number of frauds in property matters. Get as much as documents from the one from you purchased. Verify the mutation entries of the past. Also one can obtain the certified copies from the sub registrar's office but that will be a very tedious job.

Please indicate whether you got your name mutated in the records after purchasing the property through GPA or not?
Please indicate the authority (DDA or MCD) where you got your name mutated?

not mutated sir, it is MCD authority (Burari).
pl. help me & suggest how to get old chain documents.

if seller is not traceable you wont get the original chain of documents . at most you can obtain obtain copies of said documents by taking search in Registrar office

you have to do some hard work on your own . do goggle search for address in delhi
