Rights of adopted child

A child at the age of 3 was adopted by a couple who is not having children. Now the child is 22 years. Adopted father died, mother is selling the properties without the consent/knowledge. Adopted mother claim to be the only legal heir and ignoring the adoption.

How to establish the rights of adopted child?. Whom to contact for remedy in Tamil Nadu State?

adopted child and mother are legal heirs to property and have equal share . mother cannot sell property without son consent .

Legally adopted son has right in the property, mother can not sell his share without his consent.

If there is valid adoption. adopted son has same right as natural son.

Legally adopted son has same right as natural born son so if adoption is valid, mother can not sell the share of adopted son.
