Sections of 326, 207 , 506 IPC should at least be applied. Do contact highers officials if the local police is colluding with the accused persons.

Sir thanks a lot but how we can know about the section considered by the police because they will directly submit the case in court without disclosing it to us.

In such an eventuality the police swings into action and lodges FIR, collect MLC, other relevant evidences, statements and proceeds against the wrong doer(s). It is their responsibility to mention provisions of law and a layman need not know every aspect of law, however, it is better to know law of land. In case the police did not mention correct provisions the court can also add it subsequently.

You need not tell the sections to the police. If doctor intimated the police then the statements of the injured complainant must has been recorded and according to the statement, the case might has been lodged. Many sections are attracted in the given facts. Visit the police station and meet IO and enquire about the progress of investigation.
