Misuse of sc/st act

(Querist) 15 February 2015 This query is : Resolved
sir, i am a central government employee working in the min.
of health at new delhi. one of my subordinate staff has falsely
complained against me to the higher authorities regarding a dispute in
which he falsely mentioned that i have passes some jaatisuchak/castiest
remarks on him. he even mentioned i physically assaulted him ,which is
a clear lie. all this happened infront of all the staff those belongs
to his catagory and are supporting him. a departmental preliminary
enauiry has been initiated and i have submitted my version. but they
all are t rying to influence the higher authorities on caste basis.
what should i do? what is the normal course of action in such matters.
please guide me.

Since DP has started you have to face it and defend yourself. if adverse action is taken then only your remdy starts.

Please wait for the findings of the preliminary inquiry. There is nothing to worry because there is no criminal complaint filed.

They have law and evidences (may be false) in their favor. You have to be much care in defense.

It is better that no criminal case has been registered against you.

Better Try for an Amicable way of Sorting this Out with the Help of Good People From their Side.

Instead of trying amicable settlement, for which the complainant and his mates will victimize some one else after you, it would be appropriate to contest the case, if required engage a local lawyer.

You have been advised variously by different experts in different ways, it is upto you to handle the issue accordingly.
