My daughter in law has filed case under DV Act. She took the summons from the court by hand. No summon was served earlier. What is the correct procedure of summoning. How could I object to thatsummoning procedure.

You cannot object this procedure as it is purely legal. Summons by hand is a legal procedure.

What is wrong in "dasti summons"? The purpose of summoning is to inform the opposite party that a case is going on against him and if he wants to avail the opportunity to avail it. Avoiding summons is neither legal nor fair. If you are innocent, present before court and prove your innocence.

There is nothing wrong in serving the summon by dasti.
