L & L
Sir ,
I am a prospective retired person intending to let my vacant flat on L & L to supplement my income . I have downloaded the L& L format & from format it appears that in case my Licensee defaults in license fee or fails to vacate I have a remedy to commence proceedings before competent authority for relief
I asked few agents who agree to get me a licensee , but when I asked as to where is the competent authority situated in Mumbai or who is the competent authority or what is the procedure of eviction , none of them could spell out who is the competent authority in mumbai or is there a format in which the application could be filed or how much time is taken by the authority to give relief .
In case of consumer complaints , there is established consumer forum at Parel in Mumbai & there is procedure laid down which any common man can follow
In other words the remedy of eviction of defaulting Licensee can be only through a competent Advocate & payment of again heavy fees.
Therefore as there are no proper guidelines for a Common Man , as to whom to approach & when or how fast the relief will be made to aggrieved Licensors & what is the success .I am being cautious to be aware in advance before letting the premises on L& L . Please guide from where all information related to competent authority can be available
Thanking for response
