Compassionate ground appointments are meant for providing financial assistance to the family of deceased employer, which the family from due to sudden death of bread earner of the family. This right can be claimed within reasonable time. From the query, it is evident that the claim of claimant in the present case is highly belated and she survived herself during the intervening period. Thus I don't thing, law of compassionate ground appointment will help her.
Rajesh Kanna A (Querist) 30 March 2011
If Law of compassinate ground doesn't work, is there any other way to go for it. She has not parent now. Except me(husband).
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 30 March 2011
It is OK. You can take care of her.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 28 April 2012
Some family member should hve applied immediatrely. Now she is married, your responsibility and perhaps also grown overage. She cannot claim any job on account of parents death in service. Matter is now even worthe the stationary and postage you will spend.

Scope of compassionate job is explaint by Mr Tripathy. It is not undated cheque or buried treasure.
