Dear Kamal Krishna,

There is no fixed limit for suspension. It can be up to the period till the disciplinary authority decides that your absence from the office is quite necessary for holding investigation and inquiry in a proper manner so that you may not be able to tamper with the record or evidence.

You can however submit an apeal against the order of suspension giving your justification to the appellate authority to revoke the suspension.
