Dear Sir,

if appropriate reasons are present can a husband file to quash a case of domestic violence in high court.

Appeal is your right. Appeals should always be based only on appropriate and valid reasons.

No one can with certainty whether a case will be quashed by the High Court or not. If you feel strongly about your case and if you want to make an appeal, then you have to make an appeal. There is no point in going on thinking whether the HC will grant relief or not.

If you want to challenge the DV Act complaint you will have to file a writ.
