Where to file damage suit against co op society

I am a senior citizen. In spite of having valid agreement I have been harrased by the coop society and have not been allowed to use or rent out my office premises in Fort, Mumbai area. I want to file a damage suit for 10Lacs in High Court but understand that it takes very long and so my lawyer has suggested to file it in City Civil Court where limit is Rs.5lacs only. Pl. experts adice what to do in the given circumstances.

1) have you made any application in writing to cooperative society that you want to give your office premises on rent
2) has the society given in writing that no permission can be given .
3)limit in city civil court is Rs 50,000 not 5 lakhs in mumbai
4) please furnish deatiled particulars as to whether application has been made and what is society repsonse
