Custodial death ?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 October 2011 This query is : Resolved
a male of age 85 yrs convicted for life, was released on parole and reached home @ 7 pm n died naturally @ sometime midnight. found dead in the morning and brought to the hospital for PM examination.
Is it custodial death in which PM has to be done @ medical college by forensic experts and recording is compulsory,
or it is routine death and not to be considered as custodial death?
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 15 October 2011
PM has to be done to ascertain the cause of death, so that it can not be turned into custodial death at a later date.

Very wise answer! he was on parole author, you need not forget it.

As the old person was brought/released from jail where he was under life term punishment so there cannot be any custody or custodial death.
