'A' normally resides in UK. 'A' wants to purchase some immovable property in a town in Gujarat.
whether his brother 'B' - having power of attorney 'A' could execute documents on behalf of 'A', i.e., can 'B' buy property for 'A' as a PoA.

Yes provided the POA is notarized by the Indian Consulate in UK and then registered at the place where property is situated within 4 months of document's arrival in India.
After the same there are no impediments in
the Sale.
Good Luck !

Dear Y Singh N Rajput !
My answer to your question is in affirmative.
B can purchase property on behalf of A living in UK provided A executes a POA to this effect and get the same attested by the Indian Consulate in UK and then sends the same to B in India and B gets the same registered at the place where property is situated within 4 months of it's receipt .
