I'm a law student, now would get promoted in the 2nd year. I wanted to know from when can i start my internship? some of my seniors adviced me to start from 3yr, while others advicing to start now. Even I'm interested to join internship so can i start now? also, I'm v confusd regarding which field to go for like civil, criminal, taxation etc so i think if i start my internship i would get an idea where my interest lies also i require a lawyer under whom i can join as an intern i stay in mumbai so how can i find any lawyer please help..

do your internship after completing 2 years of law college . it is better to join a solicitor firm in mumbai .

I agree with Mr. Sethi....complete 2 years first.
first two years of Law course shall be devoted to research and knowledge of substantive aspect of law.
in final year you may join some law firm or some lawyer's office for practical knowledge of the things.
at present concentrate on sharpening your bookish skills.
