(Querist) 12 July 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sirs,

What is the difference between a sworn affidavit and a verified affidavit. is the signature of witnesses necessary if a sworn affidavit is being attested by a notary. Kindly let me know

For one problem one thread is sufficient.
Please do not open several thread. As facts in a an affidavit are stated on oath it is called sworn and since in the last para deponent verifies all facts stated it is called verified. No witness is required only attestation of notary is sufficient.
