Dear Sir,

one of my friend had sold his motorcycle to someone 3 years ago but the buyer till date hadn,t transferred the bike on his name. can my friend, the seller, initiate any legal proceeding against the buyer?
please suggest, thanks in advance

1) was any agreement entered? was payment received by cheque or cash

2) intimate to RTO immediatedly about sale of bike .

3)issue legal notice to buyer giving details as to when bike sold , proof of sale and as to why bike not yet ttransferred

in addition lodge complaint with local police station intimating about sale and buyeer not transferred in his name and you apprehend it may be used for terrorist activites . keep copy of complaint with you
