Respected sir,
my client has purchased mobile from Punjab state , mobile is defected and the home of my client is situated in Himachal Pradesh and he wants to file complaint in Himachal , if i will file complaint in Himachal , whether my complaint is maintainable in himachal because District Forum of himachal has no territorial jurisdiction , I want a citation on territorial jurisdiction of District Consumer Forums. If good purchased from out of jurisdiction of court but it become defected in jurisdiction of Forum then district forum has jurisdiction to adjudicate the complaint.

If you have got transferred the warranty of mobile from Punjab to Himachal Pradesh then you can file complaint in Himachal Pradesh else not.

If cause of action arises at himachal, then case can be filed at district forum,himachal.

You can file the consumer case from any place in India if therein any of the branch offices of the Mobile company situates. Now you decide where to file.
