Damage of property due to negleginance by neighbour.

Sir, my house is damaged severly due to water leakage from overhead watertank leakage and its supply pipe line of neighbour.Inspite of reminding many times no response by teenates living in the building.The owners is also not taking any action.How to file a compensation suit against the owner and what are the evidences required for this?

You have to file a suit for mandatory injunction.
For whick but temporary relief you may file case u/s 133 crpc as well.
