The police have filed a charge sheet against me in a false case at the instigation of someone powerful who has defrauded me.
I have proof that the witness statements have been ante-dated and some new allegations added months later.
The principal witness was also out of the country on the date the statement was recorded.
Can I file a counter case of forgery and conspiracy against both the IO and the pop party since this was done before the documents were submitted to the court?

First of all you should get exonerated from the case either by filing 482 petition before high court or by contesting before trial court and only then you shall have got right to initiate the desired action.

File Petition in High Court.
The Police Officer have to submit Affidavit, and cal for Record, the statement was taken , when he was abroad.
Action will be taken on Police.
Clearly mention, under whose influence and why Police acting ultravires and illegal

The statement of witnesses u/s 161 crpc has no evidentiary value.
However if you have proof of ali bi then you can go for quashing. Police excess is another
reason to look into.
