To decide place of death of civil dead person

sir,my client's husband was missing in 1996 from surat.she lodged police complaint at umra police staione,surat.then she obtained a declaration from surat civil court in 2007 under section 108 of evidence act. court declared her husband civil dead on the date 01/11/2007 on which she had filed a suit but his place of death was not declared.now we want to get his death certificate. pl.guide us where to apply for that and which place can be presumed as place of death. if possible pl.show some citation

since he hs been missing from surat and declaration obtained from civil court in surat the place of death would be surat

Show the decree of the civil court to the Municipal corporation of Surat and you can apply for the death certificate

In the given case, the death certificate shall not be issued as he has only been declared dead legally and not physically. Decree of declaration is the death certificate.
