I am sandeep and i am married since last four months. just after 15 days from marriage, my wife put a wrong complaint about me to her brother due to which her brother abuse me and my mother with out any reason. after that anyhow matter has been solved by our parents.. now she is getting wrong directions from her family as they want me to get separated from my family. she is very bad at house work.. and when my parents asked her to do with care or whenever they gave a proper advice , she burst in to anger and start fighting. I have made her understand so much but in vain.. she put whole my family matters to her family with wrong clauses added.
now Recently , she called her father by saying that we are going to kill her and please take me away. they came in a group and giving us threat for dowry case and take her away..but the truth is neither me nor my family even touched her physically. now she is saying that she dont want to live in my house and her family is putting wrong charges and threatning us with dowry case. they are asking for 10 lakhs rupees to avoid dowry charges...when we approached them to discuss the matter with peace they start abusing and violence giving a threat to kill me...now please advice me how i can save my family from this false case so that i can take divorce also and i also dont want to pay money..

Immediately inform the Police about the whole incident.
Do file suit for RCR oif you want her back else divorce suit is another option.
Do go to court first before she files any case u/s 498A ipc.

In matrimonial cases out of court settlement is the best option more specifically for groom side.

do you have your wife jewellery? your wife may file case for 498A for dowry harassment . if you don't want to pay contact local lawyer immediately . narrate entire facts of your case and act accordingly . best option is divorce by mutual consent

It shall be better to involve some respectable persons and settle the issues by mutual negotiations with trust otherwise you may face more and more harassment in future.
