Could any one please clarify on how many days will it take for a party to receive the decree copy from the court once the judgement is issued. This is in context to a property issue.
For example, if the judgement date was 3rd April then approx how many days will it take to receive the decree copy.
Just for info, the lawyer is giving same reason that it will come today or tomorrow from 3rd April till date and we havent received anything at all.
Secondly, after receiving the decree copy then within how many days we can appeal at the High court.

There is no hard fast rule about it.You should check it with copy section of the court.

have you made an application for certified copy of decree? no fixed time frame can be given

there is no time limit. You may ask the judge to expedte the preparation of decree.

Thanks for the info..
To keep you informed our lawyer confirmed that he has applied for decree copy and is still waiting for it.
yesterday we received a letter from the person who had filed a case on us and to whom the case was in favor. stating that judgement is on behalf of them and requesting to fullfil the registration prcess

You mean to say there is no chance for us to challenge in higher court?? and give up..
