Police investigation and civil case

my father's deceased first wife's children have forged my mom's signature and have got a partition order from the court without our knowledge. my father gave the properties to my mom through a gift deed. they have no claim whatsoever. we have put a set aside petition in court. we also lodged a complaint in police. but the advocate of the opposite party told the police that they cannot investigate an ongoing civil case even for forgery. with their court order they are trying to throw us out of our home.it is clearly a fraud case and we have the documents to prove so. is there no way for the police to investigate this case and file an FIR?

if police are refusing to investigate file complaint before magistrate under section 156 (3) to direct cops to investigate .
similarly move civil court to set aside order obtained on forged documents .

Obtain stay order from civil court against forceful eviction and criminal complaint before the magistrate with application under section 156(3) criminal procedure code shall suffice your purpose.
