Instead of academic query, post your real problem on account of which you want to arrest a notary. Since you are a police naik, your SHO must be knowing whether arrest can be made or not on the grounds of your case.

It depends upon the offence committed by him otherwise also the way of arrest is same for all accused persons.

If the query is on behalf of police officer then he knows how to arrest even innocent persons whereas in this case the notary is stated to be guilty.
