Hello,

I'm a Karnataka resident. In my village government has allocated land which is adjacent to our land. Which bearing Order number: NCR/CR/100/91-92. Here I've attached mutation copy as well.

1) Please help me to know what basis govt, allocated this land.

2) When consulted with some people they are saying it was allocated based on "Akrama Sakrama Rule" dated 1991-92.

P.S: Please help me to know what basis govt, allocated this land and credibility of land allocation

Hello All,

Thank-you very much for kind reply.

1) I already applied for mutation copy under RTI at Taluk office. They replied me saying that they don't have mutation copy at Taluk office. But some how I'm able to get that. Now, I don't have only order copy.

2) Again I have applied RTI at Taluk office and Village Punchayat asking them "Please help me to know what basis you have allocated this land".

3) From my preliminary investigation I came to know that "The land was sanctioned on basis of 'Akrama Sakram' dated 1991-1992 and land was allocated by village accountant on 2005 on basis of this.

4) Which made me to think seriously about credibility
of land allocation.

You dont expect a spoon feeding suggestion, contact a local lawyer conversant with the State government's rules about the land issues and proceed as per his advise with writ or any other action.

You have engaged an advocate then you better trust him.
Looking around for too many advices will only complicate the problem which is otherwise simple.

Follow the advice of expert Shri Barman.

Hello All,

After filling RTI at "taluk office" and Panchayat". The answer I got from "Taluk office" is that they don't have any document pertaining to specified plot But from "Panchayat" I came to know that it was allocated by "Revenue Inspector".

I want to know "Revenue inspector" has right to allocate land?

Please let me know how to start legal process regarding this aspect.

Regards,
Gautham
