Hello,
Greetings!!!
In my society , General body meeting date announced and informed to all members by secretary. But due to sudden death 1 day before of meeting, they declared next date. This new date is not convinient to majority members. And requested to keep meeting in month of april and given in writing to chairman and secretary. But both are not agree and not willing to change the dates.The gap between both dates are 1 week.
What is correct approach / legal way to sort out this issue?

who had died? even if one member of society die AGM should have been held . if there was no quorum meeting could have been adjourned for half an hour and commenced thereafter .
AGM for approval of accounts for year have to be held within prescribed period . if it is not possible permission of regsitrar is to be obtained for grant of further time for holding AGM
