Gpa validity before 2011

(Querist) 18 March 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi All,

please help me on the below query,

GPA was given in 2006 and the GPA executed date mentioned was 24/01/2007 in sale deed and sale deed was registered on 03/02/2007 after the death of the GPA grantor.

Death date of grantor 28/01/2007.

Is the sale deed valid in this process.

Please let me know whether the GPA executed date is considered for validation or the Sale Deed registration date.

Thanks,
Nagaraj

Was the GPA an irrevocable one and was it registered..?

Generally the GPA cease on the death of principal provided provisions does not prohibit to do so.

Consult local lawyer and show him all the documents.
