Dear Experts,
i have to file an execution petition against an employee (who is the JDR)of the State Government for attachment of his salary.when i filed an execution petition before the court along with an affidavit stating his salary about 20,000/- per month and to direct the employer deduct first Rs.1000/- and to send 1/3 rd of the salary from the JDR.But the Honorable judge returned the Execution petition with an objection to know the Exact salary.but i am not able to get the particulars of salary of the JDR officially.Hence can i file a petition with the employer of the JDR requesting to give the Salary particulars of the JDR under the RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT?Thanq experts in advance.

Yes. You can file RTI application to the employer requesting to furnish the salary particulars of the employee.

Since the employer is a public authority, you can get the desired info. by filing suitable RTI application.

Information regarding salary of an employee is third party information for a stranger may be refused by PIO under RTI act.
