i was arrested/detained by raiway protection force (RPF)under section 145- drunkness and section 146- obstructing railway servant in duties
(as written on that complaint paper
they deported me on other then my home state station and made a written complaint against me with my address, fathers name,age and i signed on that.
they also send me to hospital for checking blood alcohal level but it could not be completed. after 5/6 hrs with other petty offender(who travelling in ladies compartment)
they did necessary paper work and after some time asked for fine amount. even they(RPF) didnot produce us (with other offenders) before magistrate.and after
depositing fine they freed us and given my seized mobile and wallet after taking reciving sign from me. and they doesnot gave us any recipt of fine.
now my question is will i have to give this information in character and antecedent verification form in govt jobs asking whether convicted/
fined/prosecuted etc. i am afraid that if i not mention this they(employer/govt) terminate me if any time facts reveals in police verification.
i also could not conclude that whether it was fine or bribe.?
this is the whole story of RPF post only no magistrate no court even they given their bank account no to those which donot have ATM card and after confirmation of deposition of
fine amount they freed them and me.
sir is it possible that instead of producing me before magistrate they produce my paper in front of magistrate and the paper where i signed might be my guilty plea.
so, what i will write in coloumn prosecuted/convicted etc?
after reading newspaper i came to know that RPF can not lodge FIR and also can not make fine or challan on its own.

Had any receipt issue to you for the alleged payment of fine amount?

no sir they did not provide any recipt to me or others. but someone said me that magistrate also impose fine by seeing papers.

sir what i have to do now is our general police also having detail information about these kinds of railway fines. as they having my full address.

It is likely that they have not deposited the fine and kept it.
If you wish you can try to get information through RTI.

sir you are right but without stating charges on me and without magistrate or court how can i accept that i was prosecuted or convicted. if necessity arises how can i prove that they does not prosecute me before magistrate.

The facts narrated in your posting suggest that , no formal charge has been initiated against you for the said offence . But, you have not mentioned how much time has passed in between, to find out the possibility of any legal action being taken against you.

it hardly takes half an hour when i returned back after withdrawing money from a near ATM the cop who left RPF post for magistrate with papers already present there. even he freed other offenders beofre going to magistrate when they confirmed the deposition amount in his account as for them fine amount fixed by the cop only.

From the facts stated, no case appears to have been registered. Even otherwise, the verification would be done by the local police station, at the place where you had been resident for the past three or five years.
As such, the particulars the incident need not be mentioned in the Attestation Form. Having said that, your involvement in that particular incident, as you yourself may concede, was improper and avoidable.

sir, what is the procedure to file RTI, if i request name of all the accused,related railway act and fine collected in a particular month of a particular RPF post will they provide this information.
