Extortion .

(Querist) 16 November 2016 This query is : Resolved
Some has filled a false suit for recovery for which i have call recordings in which whole discussion being taken place and i can easily prove on the basis of that recording what the whole matter is . Simultaneously can i file a police complaint for threat by accusation for extortion in the local police station , as i am being dragged unnecessarily and made to suffer just for negotiation for a case pending against the other party by me .

Facts not enough to advice on police complaint.

Call recording has to be proved in court.

As case has been filed against you, defend the case on merits and discuss in detail with your lawyer.

New front may not be opened at present by lodging police complaint.

Let your own counsel at your location go thru the call recordings, for a considered opinion.

May be that it is old strategy to subdue the sympathizer and that is why you have been dragged.

Since the case has been filed, contest on merits.

Your own counsel after examining the facts, records can advise on other recourse's.

You can file a police complaint for extortion of money, if you have sufficient proof about that. Provide all recordings to the police in support of your complaint.

What type of false case has he filed?

Whether he has asked extortion and have you recorded the same?

What type of case was against other party in which you were negotiating and under what authority, grounds?

How were you related with other case.
