Respected Sir,
I am Abdul Karim, M.Phil Research Scholar. I am Married and have two son. I am, by birth, Hindu and last eight years before converted to Islam. I also changed my name in all legal documents, like Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID, Aadhar card, Bank account, and PAN Card. However, I am not changed my name in any educational certificates, and Community certificate.
Now the problem is, i tried to apply for new community certificate in my new name. But, the authority rejected and said the reason as "Birth community not possible to change". Then i asked the authority, "is it possible to i can apply for other backward community (OBC) whether in my new name or in my old name", and "in case of i tried to apply any govt jobs, they asked my OBC certificate, what can I do sir?".
The authority again said that "That is not possible to you to get Community certificate or OBC". But, "If you apply for your sons, there is no issue to give community certificate" like that they told me.
I asked "why sir? for the reason of conversion from Hindu to Muslim, I want to loss all my reservation? Actually my birth caste community comes under Backward community (BC) and Muslim also comes under Backward Community (BC), then why you are not issue me Community certificate?".
The Officer explained me, If anybody converted to Christian, there is a provision to issue community certificate as "Converted Christian" and sub-classes like "Christian - Nadar, Christian - Mudhaliar, Christian - Pillai" etc. But, Such that provision is not there for "Converted Muslim". Both Hindu - Nadar and Christian - Nadar, have equal rights for reservation for govt jobs under the category of backward classes.
Then finally he guided me, to write writ at High court....
Sir, My questions are :
1) this is the only way to me to get OBC or Community Certificate (Direction to High court)?
2) Both before and after conversion, there is nothing change in my social and economic status, then what factor interfere to issue community certificate?
3) There is a provision for "Converted Christians" but why it is not for "Converted Muslims"?
4) Is there any law or act says that If a Hindu is converted to Muslim, it means he should treated as "FC" (Forward Community) and Not providing any rights for reservation of Govt Jobs?
I am not know about any in-depth law points sir.... kindly help me... what are the possibilities for me to get OBC.

Your assumptions are based on incorrect knowledge. A converted christian could no longer be the cast he belonged!

The link also confirms that none other than Hindus are entitled for reservation on the basis of Caste. Because caste is a system (or handicap) within the Hindu Religion. Once a person gets converted to another religion there is no longer this handicap. Of course persons who are Buddhist, Jains or Sikhs are unaffected because they fall within the broad or expanded definition of 'Hindu'.
The case of Scheduled Tribes are different in as much as the handicap is because of the region or place. Change of religion does not affect the status of being ST.

In case of SC Hindus and so i.f they get converted to christianity they are called Dalit Christians. In case of Muslims if they belong to mattress weaving community if if they are called backward class Muslims and reservations are provided to them in education and employment. So if you too prove to the satisfaction of aUTHORITIES since you belong to your birth caste communities BC THAT BY BIRTH YOU BELONG TO OBC, YOU WOULD BE GIVEN obc CERTIFICATE BY TEHSILDAR ALTHOUGH YOU GOT CONVERTED TO iSLAM.LET THE hIGH COURT ALSO EXAMINE THE ISSUE THOROUGHLY AND ISSUE GUIDELINES OR OPINION

Reply for Sudir Kumar:
Sir, By birth, i am Backward community in Hindu. I also have community certificate issued by Deputy Thasilthar, in my old name. that was issued at 1998. I also obtained OBC certificate which was issued by Deputy Thasilthar at the year of 2004.
After my conversion, i applied for new community certificate.. The authority rejected and stated in the Remarks as "Applicant Permanent Hindu... Muslim not recommended".
