Minor Vendors wants to sell after their Majority.

(Querist) 12 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
Respected Experts,
Plz. suggest me.
We want to purchase some property from the owners, who were minors in the year 1992, as the mother of the minor children had purchased the said property under her guardianship. Now the said minor boys have attained majority.
So what steps/procedure I have to follow at this movement, while preparing an Agreement of Sale or Sale Deed.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 12 May 2011
Nothing, all the persons- mother and the minors who attained majority in the meantime needs to be made party in the agreement for sale.

No problem, you can purchase the property by making them party to sale agreement/sale deed.

Attainment of majority, itself, automatically grants the erstwhile minor to make transactions of his belongings in his own name agter attaining majority.
Sri Vijayan.A (Expert) 14 May 2011
It is as usual like other transactions.
No special attention is needed.
Just prepare and enter into sale agreement.
