Judicial Seperation is Seperation duly acknowledged by the courts.

If cohabitation doesnot resume after one year of passing of JS decree, this can be an independent ground for divorce.

Divorce end your h-w relationship.
JS only legally separate you, but none have right to re marry. None have right of cohabitation, or right as h-w to share bed.

It is s suspended marriage relationship.
I hope it is clear to you.
As and when court find, it necessary, instead of Divorce, they grant Legal Sepn. ie JS

you must have engaged a lawyer . he must have explainted to you whar order means . in short it is not diovrce but separation which has been permitted by courts
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 15 April 2012
Any court can grant a decree of JS instead of divorce if it deems fit.

Divorce is considered bigger evil. JS is lesser evil for parties to give time for better sense to prevail.
