Cancellation of registered power of attorney.

(Querist) 17 July 2013 This query is : Resolved 
Sir,
Can the power of attorney which was registered with sub registrar,be cancelled
through a notary public.Please advice.

The cancellation should be registered. Simple notarisation will not suffice. After registration of the cancellation, the party to whom the POA was originally given has to be notified about the cancellation through Registered Letter.
