We have a woman employee in our company, she took leave from company because of pregnancy & now she has resumed company after 03 months of delivery. What Maternity benefit can she get? Also tell us if Yearly Leave of 30 days will still be applied to her as to other employees of company? Pls revert...
I hope your company must also be having HR department or section headed by some qualified HR manager. You may better refer the matter to him.
However, you being an accountant it is for your information, regular yearly leave is not affected by maternity leave. That would remain intact and admissible to the employee. Permissible limit of maternity leave is in addition to all other kinds of leave permissible to the women employees of the organisation.

You can refer maternity benefit act 1961. Act can be searched on net. Maternity leave is apart from annual leave.
