I AM WORKING WITH DELHI DISTRICT COURTS AS AN PERSONAL ASSISTANT AND MY DEPARTMENT IS NOT GRANTING ME PERMISSION FOR DOING LLB FROM CCS UNIVERSITY.
IS THERE SOME RULE OR JUDGMENT THAT I CAN DO LLB FROM CCS UNIVERSITY WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM MY DEPARTMENT AND IF I DO LLB WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION OF MY DEPARTMENT CAN IT BE ADDED LATER IN MY SERVICE RECORD.
PLEASE ADVICE ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

You should be absolutely clear of the following:-
(I) There is no law under which you can compel deptt to give you such permission. It is only discretion and you have to keep pleading for the same.
(II) If you do not seek permission and join the course you have to be clear that it will never be added in service record. You will not at all be able to seek any promotion of apply for deputation or any outside employment wherein LLB is the basic qualification.
(III) If you do not seek permission and join the course besides above the deptt can initate disciplinary action.
