We have a house in the posh area of kanpur. It is our ancestral home divided in three parts by my grandparents between my father and his two brothers. The division was legally proved by kanpur nagar nigam with all three brothers paying separate taxes in their name.
We got an offer from a bank for handsome amount of loan but the division by nagar nigam was not acceptable to them.
Instead they requested that our property be dhakhil kharij for us to be liable for the loan.
I just want to know about the exact procedure of dhakhil kharij and the agency which convey this and the time duration the task would probably take.

Visit to your nagar nigam office and ask for printed application form for dakhil kharij, fill that form and then submit there, attach the registered family settlement deed alongwith map with your application , the inspector of nigam will visit your place and submit his report in the nigam , after 40 days of submit your application you will get dhakhil kharij in your favour.

Well advised by expert Sh. Laxmi Kant Joshi, I agree.
Since you are owning a "posh" house, you can afford you should engage a local lawyer for further guidance, advise and proceeding.
