I purchased sauce from reputed store and when I came home i checked that it's best use before has expired. When I brought to knowledge of Store they were very arrogant. That on the interest of justice can I file consumer case as I have the expiry product with store bill. Please advise

Yes ,your case attracts the provisions of Consumer law as expiry date products are hazardous to life and health, you should file complaint before Consumer Commission having jurisdiction against store and manufacturer and claim compensation and cost of sause simultaneously lodge complaint in police station against store that expiry date item has been sold which is hazardous to health and life.

Cost of product is not material, Shopkeeper sold you expiry date product which is his deficiency in services and unfare trade practice that matters.
