if advocate has filed an affidavit of evidence you cna corss examine him .
Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Expert) 18 June 2013
If you have appointed your counsel, then you have no right to cross examine any person at your own. If you want to fight your case at your own then you are required to represent your case as party in person.

Sir, I am a party to a partition of estate at Margao Goa.
The advocate cum interested party has filed arguments supported by affidavit by himself as interested party. I am representing myself; can I cross the deponent regarding his argument supported by advocate? A P fernandes
Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Expert) 19 June 2013
If you are representing your case as party in person you can cross examine the deponent. It is better for you to hire the services of experienced local advocate.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 19 June 2013
You have every right to cross-examine that person because he is not lawyer while filing the affidavit.
