Only legally wedded wife forms part of the family of an employee for the purpose of family pension.

For other benefits, like gratuity, GPF, employees insurance scheme, only the person nominated as such by the employee would be entitled to claim such benefits. If no nomination is made by the employee during his service period, only his legally weded wife or any other family member, who produced a succession certificate, would become entitled to claim.

During the pendancy of the first marriage, the second marriage even otherwise is illegal and in the given case, such term even is not in vogue so the question of getting family pension by that stranger lady do not arise.
