one st married women has been raped on 23-1-2012 at kakinada lodge which was not infomed to the police due to family,society problems and threatenig from rapist(reddy caste).finally complaint was lodged to SP at kakinada on 28-5-2012.SP endorsed the coplaint to CI, but they are not registered the case,they told me that we are busy with elections.the DSP(reddy caste)has told me that you should withdraw from the case otherwise i will close the case at the time of investigation.victim went to kakinada for the purpose of JNTU WORK rapist followed and threatened her .she has been taken to lodge at 2:50 am and raped at kakinada.rapist and victim are residing at nizamabad district at the same colony adjcent to each other.rapist has been harrasing the victim since one year.NOW WHAT LEGAL STEPS I HAVE TO TAKE.CAN I GO TO THE COURT?PLS EXPLAIN HOW TO APPROACH THE COURTAND EXPLAIN THE PROCEDURE.ANY LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON DSP?.

It is really surprising that in spite of repeated rapes they are still silent.
A contact with any any advocate would have told the to move an application u/s 156(3) crpc. Delay in this case damaged its merit quite substantially.
Still it is better late than never.

fike police complaint against rapist. although complaint is delayed you can explain that you were threatened if you lodge police complaint he will kill you .

Approach the women's organisation of your area and also file a complaint in human rights commission. Also file complaint to S.P. and D.G. by registered post. These are minimum formalities. Now, as Mr. Barman suggested file a complaint case under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. before the area magistrate. As suggested very valuable evidence has been erased due to long process of time. But, if the clothes she was wearing at the time of incident, if they were not washed, would be valuable piece of evidence. If the lodge has CCTV and register of occupants, it may throw some light on the offence. If the media is cooperative, take its assistance also.
